KMCT Confluence is the annual research conference of the KMCT Group of Institutions, organised by the Directorate of Research. It brings together researchers, faculty, students, healthcare professionals and other experts to present research, exchange ideas, explore collaborations and discuss emerging developments across disciplines. The 2026 edition is themed “From Lab to Life: Interdisciplinary Translational Research for Healthcare Innovations.”
The Directorate of Research is the central body that oversees and supports research activities across KMCT campuses. It provides academic, financial, infrastructural and institutional support to eligible faculty, doctoral scholars and students engaged in research.
Faculty members, doctoral scholars and students involved in research activities across KMCT institutions can seek guidance and support from the Directorate of Research.
Yes. KMCT supports research through both intramural and extramural funding. The Directorate supports researchers in developing and pursuing research projects, while researchers can also seek grants from national and international funding agencies.
KMCT welcomes research collaborations with universities, academic and research institutions, hospitals, industries, government organisations, technology companies and other relevant institutions for joint research projects, publications, innovation and knowledge exchange.
KMCT provides researchers with access to specialised laboratories, advanced research equipment, library and digital resources, central research facilities, and other institutional infrastructure across its campuses. These facilities support interdisciplinary research, experimentation, data analysis and the translation of research into practical applications.
