KMCT Group is a diversified education trust headquartered in Kozhikode, Kerala, established with a singular purpose: to make quality, industry-relevant education accessible to students across the region. What began as a single engineering college has, over more than two decades, grown into a constellation of institutions spanning engineering, medical and paramedical sciences, management studies, teacher education, arts and science, and allied health disciplines. Each institution under the KMCT umbrella operates with academic autonomy while sharing a common foundation of governance, infrastructure standards and ethical values. This federated model allows individual colleges to specialise deeply in their disciplines — whether that is a state-of-the-art engineering laboratory, a teaching hospital, or a research-driven management school — while students across the Group benefit from shared libraries, sports facilities, industry tie-ups and placement networks. Affiliated to leading universities and accredited by national regulatory bodies, KMCT Group's institutions are recognised for their curriculum rigour, faculty expertise and consistent placement outcomes. Beyond the classroom, the Group invests heavily in applied research, incubation support for student start-ups, and community outreach programmes that extend the benefits of education to the wider society — including free medical camps, skill-development workshops and rural literacy initiatives. Today, KMCT Group stands as one of the region's most trusted names in private higher education — a reputation built not on scale alone, but on a consistent commitment to student outcomes, faculty development and institutional integrity.KMCT Directorate of Research

A Word from the Director
Managing day-to-day research operations across twelve departments, thirty-five active collaborations, and over a hundred doctoral scholars is a privilege I do not take lightly. What motivates me every morning is witnessing the moment a researcher's hypothesis becomes a verified finding — and imagining the downstream lives that finding will eventually improve.
Our institute has invested heavily in infrastructure this year — new analytical labs, a centralised data repository, and an expanded seed grant programme for early-career researchers. But infrastructure alone does not make great science. People do. And it remains our foremost priority to recruit, retain, and grow exceptional researchers in a culture of psychological safety and intellectual rigour.
I encourage you to explore our research ecosystem document and reach out if you see an opportunity to collaborate or contribute.
